We offer a range of services to farmers, including training programs on soil science, agronomy, agricultural engineering, horticulture, plant protection, animal husbandry, and various government schemes. Farmers are educated about newly developed technologies, farm mechanization and provided with seeds/saplings of improved varieties of field crops, vegetables, horticulture and fodder crops.

We facilitate soil and water testing, conservation measures, as well as animal health camps to raise awareness about livestock health through vaccination drives and disease management programs. For crop protection, we educate farmers on seed treatment and provide guidance in case of disease outbreaks in crops and animals. Regular diagnostic visits to farmers' fields help identify issues, allowing us to recommend specific treatments for better outcomes.

To demonstrate advanced farming techniques, we have established various demonstration units at the KVK farm, including a nursery unit, vermicomposting unit, pig Unit, duck Unit and goatery unit. Additionally, we serve as resource persons in training sessions organized by allied departments and offer advisory services through telephone consultations, printed materials (folders, leaflets, newspapers), the m-Kisan portal, KVK WhatsApp groups, and agricultural magazines.
