ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Phek and ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun, Porba celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at the Porba campus. On the occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist & Head, ICAR-KVK Phek & ICAR-NRC on Mithun Porba, hoisted the National Flag and addressed the staff and children. In his address, he highlighted the major achievements and contributions of the institute towards agricultural development, livestock improvement, conservation of indigenous resources, and the welfare of the farming community in the region. Dr. Singh urged all staff members to work with greater dedication, commitment and team spirit towards improving the livelihoods and socio-economic well-being of farmers and rural communities of the region.
