ICAR–Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Phek celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2026 at the KVK premises with the active participation of KVK staff and staff from ICAR–National Research Centre on Mithun , Porba. As part of the celebration, the staff members planted cherry saplings within the campus, emphasizing the importance of increasing green cover and preserving the environment for future generations.
